Security
GoalView encrypts all data utilizing Secure Socket Layers (SSL) technology,
the industry-standard method for protecting web communications. The SSL
security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication, message
integrity and optional client authentication for each TCP/IP connection.
Current browsers, i.e., v 4.5+, support the highest levels of data transfer
encryption using 128-bit session keys.
GoalView has roles-based user security and data access control and
confidentiality. Users can only access data they are authorized to view or
edit as determined by their roles and specific responsibilities. View and
edit access to specific categories of information for each student can be
controlled on a database and data field basis.

For additional security, GoalView tracks, logs and enables auditing of
the following:
· User logon and logoff
· Pages accessed by a user during a session
· All additions, changes or deletions of data
· All reports generated by a user during a session
